1. Who we are and how to contact us
Palladium Scholars Ltd (company number 17275322), registered in England and Wales, operates this website. Our registered office is 128 City Road, London, United Kingdom, EC1V 2NX. We are responsible for the personal information described in this notice.
For privacy questions, requests concerning your information, or complaints, email contact@palladiumscholars.com.
2. What this notice covers
This notice covers the Palladium Scholars website, its inquiry form, and preliminary correspondence about our services. Sending an inquiry does not enroll a student, create a paid engagement, or accept a service agreement. Any ongoing service and its information-handling arrangements are agreed separately before work begins.
3. Information we collect
When you send an inquiry, the website records:
- Your first name, email address, and international phone number
- The inquiry subject: Advisory Engagement, Consultant Services, or General Inquiry
- The submission time
- Your browser user-agent string
- The page referrer, or a direct-visit value when no referrer is available
The form requires you to acknowledge this privacy notice before sending an inquiry. The inquiry record does not contain a separate acknowledgement receipt or timestamp.
If you email us, we receive your email address, the message and any information you include. Please avoid sending sensitive student records, health information, financial details, passwords, or other unnecessary personal information in an initial inquiry.
4. Why we use your information
We use inquiry information to respond to your request, understand the service you are asking about, and maintain correspondence and follow-up records. Technical submission information helps us administer the website and understand the context of a request.
Where processing is necessary to take steps you request before entering into a service agreement with you, we rely on the contractual lawful basis. For other preliminary inquiries, general questions and website administration, we rely on our legitimate interests in responding to inquiries and operating the inquiry service. We consider the interests and rights of the people concerned, including students and children where relevant.
The form acknowledgement is not a blanket consent to every use of your information. Providing inquiry details is voluntary, but we need contact information to respond to a request.
5. Where information is stored and who accesses it
The inquiry form sends submissions to Google Cloud Firestore in the palladiumscholars-firebase project. The default database is configured in Google's eur3 European multi-region. Google's Firestore location documentation identifies its read-write regions as Belgium and the Netherlands, with a witness region in Finland.
Omar is the only person at Palladium Scholars with business access to inquiry records and the contact inbox. Listing an advisor or collaborator on this website does not give that person access to inquiries. We may use the information you provide in correspondence with you to respond to your request.
We use service providers for website hosting, database storage and email communication. These providers process information needed to deliver their services. We may also disclose information where required by applicable law or necessary to deal with a legal claim.
6. Website resources and international processing
The website uses Google Firebase/Cloud services and loads resources from Google Fonts and jsDelivr. When your browser requests these resources, the providers receive request information, which can include your IP address and browser headers.
The Firestore database location does not mean that all website delivery, provider support, or other provider processing occurs in the UK or Europe. Google's published terms describe possible processing in countries where Google and its subprocessors operate, subject to applicable location and transfer commitments. Its Cloud Data Processing Addendum and Firebase Data Processing and Security Terms describe processing arrangements and transfer safeguards. The Firebase service terms explain which service terms apply to Firestore and Hosting.
Contact us for further information about international processing and how to obtain a copy of any applicable transfer safeguards.
7. Analytics, cookies and external links
We have not added an advertising pixel, newsletter signup, or optional marketing-analytics integration to this website. External resource providers may process requests under their own privacy terms.
Links to other websites, including an advisor's independent website, take you to services with their own privacy practices. Review their notices before providing information there.
Optional TikTok content. Our website offers Loulou Learning’s public creator-profile widget, which can show up to ten recent videos. It loads only when you choose to load it; before then, your browser does not contact TikTok through the widget. Loading it allows TikTok and its providers to process browser and request information and potentially use cookies under their own privacy terms. TikTok controls the widget, including video previews that may play automatically after loading. You can hide the widget or use the direct profile link instead. Hiding it removes the embedded content; it does not undo information already sent to TikTok. We do not save your loading choice between page visits.
8. How long we keep inquiry information
Our policy is to delete records of inquiries that do not become client engagements 12 months after our last contact with you. This is a retention policy, not a claim that the website automatically deletes records.
If an inquiry becomes a client engagement, any continuing record-keeping arrangements will be explained in the engagement documentation. Information that must be retained because of an applicable legal requirement is kept only for the period that requirement calls for.
9. Students and minors
Our services may involve students under 18. A parent or guardian must approve and pay for an engagement. Please do not submit unnecessary information about a child through the initial inquiry form.
Parent or guardian approval does not create unrestricted access to all student information. Information sharing with a parent, guardian, student, school or another person is determined by the engagement scope and applicable law. Any additional handling of student records is addressed before those services begin.
10. Security
The website uses HTTPS to protect information in transit. Business access to inquiries is limited as described above. No online service can guarantee complete security, so please send only the information needed for your initial request.
11. Your rights and complaints
Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, you may have rights to access or correct your information, request deletion or restriction, object to processing, or receive information in a portable form. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw that consent. These rights can have conditions and exceptions.
Your right to object: You may object to our processing based on legitimate interests for reasons relating to your particular situation. Email contact@palladiumscholars.com to exercise this right.
Send requests to contact@palladiumscholars.com. We may ask for information needed to verify your identity and identify the relevant record. We will handle requests and complaints within the applicable legal requirements and explain any relevant limitations.
You may also complain to the UK's Information Commissioner's Office about the handling of personal information. See the ICO's guide to individual rights for further information.
12. Changes to this notice
We will update this notice when the website's information practices materially change and show the date of the latest version above.
